Im a Photographer and a Web designer based in Nashville TN. Thus far, IÂÂve found photography and web design to compliment each other beautifully! I spend free time learning and growing as an artist while keeping up with modern digital trends and marketing theory. I cannoÂÂt stand being idle, and IÂÂm extremely sensitive to caffeine. YOUR TURN. In 2000 I began my college career in the very black and white field of electrical engineering. Two semesters later I felt like I was suffocating. I was restless and miserable and it was this sense of claustrophobia that caused me to leave one of the most highly-esteemed and challenging schools in the country only to begin classes at MTSU here in Murfreesboro with interest in everything from psychology to 3d animation and philosophy.
In February 2004, I bought my first fancy camera and started taking pictures like it was my job. Haha. I didnâÂÂt take ANY formal photography classes other than the mandatory black and white film course, and didnâÂÂt have any tangible mentors other than some dreamy online-websites that kept me inspired and motivated. I have always been a "ÂÂlearn by doing" type guy and so I did just that â I started doing. By 2005 I had snapped 15,000 images with that old Nikon and had learned leaps and bounds about exposure, light, iso, aperture, shutterspeed, focal length, depth of field, and had even figured out how to apply my art background of composition, contrast, perceived lines and patterns etc! |
